About the Journal

The Journal of Applied Plant Biology (JAPB), ISSN 3041-8739, is an international journal dedicated to the rapid publication of original research in all areas of plant biology. The journal covers significant biological problems of broad interest. We welcome research in plant physiology, comparative genomics, functional genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, computational biology, biochemical and regulatory networks, plant tissue and organ culture, biotechnology, astrobiology of plants, plant ecology, ethnobotany, and medicinal plants. Preference is given to manuscripts that provide significant new insights into biological problems and advance the understanding of the roles of plants in modern human life.
